Voconix is a SaaS platform designed for businesses that need to produce professional voice messages for their phone systems, including voicemail greetings, on hold recordings, IVR prompts, and auto attendant messages, without relying on external recording studios or specialist technical knowledge.

The platform combines voices generated by AI and voices recorded by human professionals across five European languages: English (UK), French, German, Spanish, and Italian. The voice cast currently includes 25 voices, a mix of trained voice actors and synthetic voices built on generative AI technology. Users select a voice, type or paste a script, choose background music, and the audio file is produced within seconds.

One notable aspect of the tool is its music library, which contains over 10,000 tracks spanning both licensed commercial music and a growing catalogue of royalty free titles generated by AI. These royalty free tracks carry no PRS or PPL obligations, making them legally straightforward to use in a business telephony context. The catalogue is updated weekly. Users can also upload their own music.

For companies managing multiple employees or locations, keeping voicemail messages current is a recurring operational task. Voconix stores a full history of generated messages, tagged by recipient or department, so past recordings can be retrieved, updated, or reused without starting from scratch. Messages can be previewed and shared with colleagues for approval before download, which supports internal validation processes without adding friction.

Audio files are exported in MP3 or WAV format, compatible with standard telephony infrastructure including IPBX, PABX, Centrex, and cloud phone systems such as 3CX, Mitel, RingOver, and Aircall. An option to notify a third party telephony installer automatically when a new message is ready is also built into the workflow, reducing the coordination effort between a business and its telecom provider.

For organisations with multilingual requirements or difficult to pronounce terminology such as brand names, technical terms, or employee surnames, the platform includes a pronunciation memory tool. Words can be saved phonetically so that AI voices render them consistently across future messages.

The subscription model includes several tiers to accommodate different usage volumes, from occasional updates to regular fleet management across large teams. An API is also available for developers and telephony integrators who need to embed message generation into their own workflows or platforms.
