ego lite is a free Chromium browser built for people and AI agents to work in parallel. It can import a user’s Chrome setup, including logins, cookies, bookmarks, extensions, and profiles. Through the ego-browser runtime, agents such as Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor can navigate websites, fill forms, extract information, and complete multi-step browser workflows in isolated Spaces. Users can continue browsing, monitor an agent’s work, or take over when human review is needed. ego lite currently supports macOS, with Windows and Linux listed on the roadmap.
